Powder coating is powdered paint. It contains no solvents and is applied in dry form directly to the surface of any metals to be coated. Each powder particle contains the necessary resins, pigments, modifiers and curing agents.

Powder is
electrostatically applied directly to a grounded part. The charged powder adheres to the surface until it is placed in a curing oven. When the part is placed in the curing oven, the powder melts, bonds and cures to the desired surface. The end product is the coating which provides a uniform, durable, high quality finish.
The benefits of powder coating are chip, corrosion, chemical, impact and ultraviolet resistance as well as
weatherability.
There are no harmful emissions to the atmosphere when using powder coating. There is no generation of hazardous waste and environmental compliance issues are virtually eliminated.
